LipoSculpturing
Give your quest for a sleeker, smoother figure a boost with LipoSculpturing...
...now combined with the powerful Erchonia Laser Treatment.
Would you like to address those problem areas once and for all? Even when we are doing our best to pursue good habits like a diet and exercise regimen, many of us are just not able to attain the contour and tone we’d like in various areas of our body. LipoSculpture is a gentle and safe alternative to removing unwanted fat that provides quick results.
At Day Medical Salon, we take the procedure one step closer toward ensuring amazing results with pre-treatment by the new Erchonia Laser. The painless, non-invasive Erchonia Laser emulsifies fatty tissue, making its removal through LipoSculpture easier. Recovery time is also generally accelerated by this "low- level" (i.e., non-destructive) FDA-approved laser treatment.
Contact Dr. Day today to find out if LipoSculpturing - and pre-treatment with the Erchonia Laser - is for you.
Tumescent LipoSculpturing: Commonly Asked Questions
Will I be awake for the procedure?
LipoSculpturing is safest when performed under local anesthesia. Oral medication is also offered to help patients relax. Many fall asleep during the surgery.
Is the surgery painful?
Following the local anesthesia, numbness sets in very quickly. In general, the procedure is painless.
How is laser used during the procedure?
After the tumescent infusion, but before Dr. Day removes the fat, the painless Erchonia™ laser will be passed over the area for several minutes to liquefy the fat cells, making fat removal quicker and more complete.
How will I feel after the procedure?
Most of our patients feel surprisingly energetic immediately after surgery, comfortable enough to leave after a brief stay in our relaxing recovery room. Mild drainage from the tiny incisions is normal and lasts for several days. If bruising occurs, it is generally mild to moderate and may last up to several weeks.
How long do I have to wear the compression garment?
We recommend wearing a compression garment for thirty days to help the dermal and subcutaneous tissue shrink.
When can I go back to work?
Most of our patients return to work within a few days, depending upon their occupation.
When can I resume working out again?
Most people feel comfortable resuming a low impact workout 1-2 weeks after surgery, gradually increasing the level of exercise as is comfortable.
Will the fat "go elsewhere" after liposuction?
This is a common misconception. Unless you gain significant weight after your surgery, your body should not deposit fat in other areas as a result of your surgery.
Will liposculpturing get rid of cellulite?
In general, liposuction does not improve cellulite.
Will liposculpturing help me achieve my weight loss goal?
It is important to know that liposculpturing is not a method of weight loss. Though a significant number of fat cells will be permanently removed during liposculpturing, there is a minimal change in your actual weight after the surgery. The biggest change will be an improvement in the contour of the area undergoing the procedure.
How long will it take to see the results?
Each person is unique, but in general, most patients are swollen for several weeks. Enhanced contours in the area where you had your surgery are generally noted about a month after the procedure and continue improving for 6-12 months, as the skin and connective tissue layers contract and tighten.
To achieve optimal results after liposuction, it is important to follow our post-op instructions and to continue a proper diet and exercise regimen.
